The Middleton High School Class of 1959 celebrated their 70th birthday last month with a weekend of events at the Little Harbor Resort in Ruskin. They enjoyed eating carioca sandwiches, drinking Nehi sodas and peanuts; prayer on the beach; dancing the chicken and twist to music of their era and on Sunday they gathered for worship. Dr. Ernestine Anderson Glenn and Gloridine McNair were chairpersons.
