FRIENDS OF LIBRARY MEET WITH POLICE

 

Recently, Friends of the C. Blythe Andrews, Jr., Library met with Tampa Police Major Calvin Johnson. The purpose of the meeting was a collaboration between police and the Friends of the C. Blythe Andrews, Jr., Library. Their goal is to address the need for community counseling in East Tampa and to support single parents dealing with their children. The initial contact was made with Earlisha Oates and April Cobb, of Beaute Blue Print Foundation, to bring such a program to the library. Among those in attendance at the meeting are shown from left to right: Tampa Police Major Calvin Johnson; Robyn Donaldson, Founder of STEM EXPOSURE,INC.; Carol Lawrence, Vice President, Friends of the C.
