BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA HOSTS WHITNEY M. YOUNG, JR. AWARDS BREAKFAST
The 2019 Whitney M. Young, Jr, Awards Breakfast was held Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at the Tampa River Center, Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award recognizes outstanding service by individuals and organizations that work with Scouting programs or programs that exemplify the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law to youth in underserved communities. This year’s recipients were: Sheriff Chad Chronister, Troy Taylor, Bullard Family Foundation, Senator Arthenia Joyner and Garland V. Stewart (Posthumously). Among those who attended the breakfast were: Scouts JaKeevia Middleton, Ki’Mariah Teel, Shilah Bryant, Kamani Taylor, Bri’elle Taylor, Enyah Green, Kimora White, Raraji White, Damion Gallon, Jr., Ali Gay, Nevah Wade, Jordyn Ashley and Scout Leaders, D’Wan Johnson and Kimyelle Teel.
