Lauryn Hill welcomed a bouncing baby boy on Saturday, but it wasn’t all smooth for the singer or her new tot inside the delivery room.

Despite rumors circulating that Hill’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Rohan Marley, and father to Hill’s other five children, may or may not be the father, the identity of the baby-daddy was put aside after a scare the singer had while giving birth.

So what happened?

Hill and her new baby are reportedly both doing well after the little boy came out of the womb with his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, reports BlackCelebKids.
