PROGRESS VILLAGE COMMUNITY CELEBRATES RETIREMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICE AIDE

 

         On July 16th,the Progress Village Community celebrated the retirement of Jackie Cooper Johnson. Jackie was a Community Service Aide for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for 35 years. She served the Progress Village community for 25 of those years. Jackie loved the community and gave of her time outside of work to volunteer with different activities, such as community clean ups and the Seniors Holiday dinner. The celebration was sponsored by the Progress Village Civic Council, Inc. Shown with the honoree are: Vanessa Cooper Harvin, Rose Cooper Barden, Kyrah Harvin, Jacquelyn Cooper Johnson (honoree, center), Barbara Cooper Williams, Alexis Williams Brown and Thurston Brown.
