Plus size model, television producer and actress Mia Amber Harris was confirmed dead Tuesday although an official cause of death has not been confirmed.
Her husband, comedian Michael Yard, recently expressed his shock over her death and says the model went in for surgery to correct an old basketball injury on her knee. According to Yard, Davis called him Tuesday from Los Angeles complaining of dizziness, hours later she was dead. “I want to know what happened to my wife.” She was 36-years-old.
The striking 6-foot-tall beauty was featured in the 2000 film “Road Trip” as ‘Rhonda’ a plus-size woman that seduces geeky character Kyle Edwards played by actor DJ Qualls. Harris began her career as a producer for ‘The Ricky Lake Show’ she then moved on to ‘Change Of Heart’ and ‘Divorce Court.’
