VOLUNTEERS BUILD PLAYGROUND IN 1 DAY

More than 200 volunteers joined the City of Tampa to build a playground at the Clarence Fort Freedom Trail earlier this month. Students at Potter Elementary School gave their ideas on what the playground should look like. The event had the support of the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation, United Healthcare, East Tampa CRA, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and KaBoom! Among the volunteers were: kneeling, Georgette Edwards, Lalita Lovett and Tina Morrell. Standing, Emma, Lameitria, Denese Meteye James, Charlotte Coffie, Evangeline R.
