NEW COMMUNITY RADIO STATION GETS DONATION

Tampa’s newest community radio station was recently gifted with a $10,000 donation. WURK – 96.3 FM – is just 8 months old and has a limited range, however, people are starting to pay attention, the founders say. On Monday, October, 30, the founders and volunteers gathered downtown to accept a corporate donation. David Carmena, Real Estate Agent of Carmena and Associates, made the presentation.
