Tampa Police homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in solving
a
shooting that left one man dead. O’Shay Lindsey Vondel Lewis and David
Williams Jr. were traveling south on Armenia Avenue near Alva Street in a
2006
Nissan Altima on September 17. Shortly after 3 a.m. unidentified
suspect(s)
drove up alongside the victims’ vehicle and fired multiple shots into the
driver’s side. The driver of the Altima, Lewis, was pronounced deceased at
the scene. Williams Jr., the rear seat passenger, was transported to a
local
hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives are actively investigating to identify the suspect(s) in this
case,
and to determine what led up to this fatal shooting.
