HBCU COLLEGE FAIR AT HOWARD W. BLAKE HIGH SCHOOL  

Howard W. Blake High School of the Performing Arts was the site of an Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) College Fair and Decision Day last month. Among the colleges and universities with representatives in attendance were: Spelman College, Bethune-Cookman University, Florida A&M University, Hillsborough Community College, Cheyney University, Edward Waters College, and Florida Memorial University. These members of the Blake High School Urban Teaching Academy who assisted with the event are: Ayanna Anderson, Chaya Baptiste, Jael Baptiste, Alana Blocker, Julissa Flores, Samiyah Thomas and Derricka Whyte.
