Thirteen months later, it appears that aside from last week’s much-covered relapse, Chris Brown is back. F.A.M.E. moved 270,000 units in its first seven days out. It’s the first time he’s topped the albums chart and the sales figures earn him 2011s second best debut behind Adele’s 352,00 for 21.
Trying to figure out how Brown made it to No. 1? Well, you can start here.
Jennifer Hudson’s sophomore set I Remember Me starts at No. 2, selling 165,000 albums. And Adele’s 21, last week’ s No. 1, drops to No. 3 with a still-impressive 96,000 albums sold.
