FORMER PRESIDENT MEETS WITH LOCAL LEADERS
Recently, former U. S. President William (Bill) Clinton visited Tampa and met with community leaders, elected officials, and members of the faith-based community. The meeting took place at Ragan Park Community Center, 1200 E. Lake Avenue, on Tuesday, August 23rd. Reverend Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Senior Pastor of St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church gave the invocation. He was in town campaigning for his wife, U. S. Presidential Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. He spoke about her commitment to build an economy that would be beneficial for everyone.
