COALITION OF CLERGY HOSTS UNITY PRAYER VIGIL
In wake of the recent rash of violence throughout the nation, the Tampa Bay Coalition of Clergy hosted a Unity Prayer Vigil on Monday, August 8th for slain police officers and victims. The vigil was held at Allen Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church, with Rev. Dr. David Green as host pastor. The vigil was co-hosted by Rev. Dr. W. James Favorite, Pastor of Beulah Baptist Institutional Church and President of Pastors on Patrol; and Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Pastor, St. John Progressive M. B. Church and President, Progressive M & E Baptist State Convention of Florida, Inc. Bishop Thomas Scott is Chairman of the Tampa Bay Coalition of Clergy. Pastors who attended the vigil included: Rev.
