Belmont Heights Little League 1970 All-Star Team Honored

                Members of the Belmont Heights Little League 1970 All-Star Team were recently honored and included as part of the Tampa Bay Rays Baseball History Series documentary. Several members of the team were on hand to share their memories of how that team changed history and broke the color barrier when they integrated Little League Baseball in the South by placing in the Little League Baseball Southern Regional Competition. Members of the 1970 Belmont Heights Little League team who attended the filming of the documentary were from left to right: Charlie Davis, Nino Austin, Herbert Green, Ronald Harvin and James Walker.
