300 WOMEN ATTEND CONFERENCE HOSTED BY COLLEGE HILL CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST

College Hill Church of God in Christ hosted ‘COGIC Woman Of Excellence,’ a women’s conference, on Saturday, May 7, 2016. The conference, which attracted more than 300 women, was held at the Church of God in Christ Conference Center. Superintendent Charles Davis, host pastor, was one of a limited number of men enjoying the event. This year’s theme was “Pearls and Lace: A Tribute to Mothers.” There were speakers, prizes and of course a sumptuous meal. The ‘Woman of Excellence’ title was bestowed upon Mother Ruth Nettles. Pauline Williams was last year’s winner. Among the women in attendance were: Lenora Thornton, Bettye Greene Johnson, Sherrell Williams and Cynthia Walker. (Photography by BRUNSON)
