GROUND BROKEN FOR NEW PAVILION AT ST. PETER CLAVER CATHOLIC SCHOOL

It has been more than 50 years since ground was broken at St. Peter Claver Catholic School for a major project. It was in the 1960s when the annex was added onto the school. Under the theme, “Good things are happening at St. Peter Claver,” last Monday, December 7, 2015, ground was broken to build an outdoor pavilion on the school’s property. The name designated for the pavilion is “The Ed Gallagly Pavilion.” Among those who participated in the groundbreaking were: from left, Joseph Bodden, alumni; Chris Pastura, Superintendent; Mike Jensen, Advisory Board President; Sister Maria Babatunde, SSMA, Principal; Joe Capitano, President, Radiant Oil Company, school supporter; Donelda Gallagly and Father Hugh Chikawe, Pastor.
