The movie was about light heavyweight champion Billy Hope (Gyllenhal) turning to trainer Tick Willis (Forrest Whitaker) for help after the tragic loss of his wife (Rachel McAdam) and his daughter to child protection services. 50 Cent also stars as the corrupt promoter.
