Authorities report that four women have been connected to a theft ring that stretched from Miami to Tampa, and involved the stealing of jewelry from an NFL player, a vehicle from another man, and thousands of dollars from other men.
The four women, known as “Four Foxy Female Thieves,” have been identified as Subhanna Beyah, 25, Keisha Clark, 27, Johnnia Miller, 25, and Ryan Elkins, 23. Beyah was arrested Friday in New York, and Clark turned herself in Thursday to authorities in Miami. Authorities are still looking for Miller and Elkins.
New York Giants player, Shaun Rogers, told authorities he was at a nightclub in Miami Beach on March 25th when he met the two women. According to Beyah’s arrest report, Rogers took the women to his hotel room, and put $450,000 worth of jewelry in the room safe before going to bed. When he awoke, the women and the valuables were gone.
Police said almost a week later, Beyah appeared in Tampa where Mark Testa, 37, met her and another woman at the Blue Martini Lounge at International Plaza. Testa told authorities he had been drinking and decided to call a cab, but the women told him they would drive him home.
Testa said he passed out after they took him home, and woke up to find his wallet, iPhone, Rolex, and Cadillac Escalade gone, which contained a .40 caliber handgun.
Authorities said the women took the vehicle on a joyride, stopping at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and tried to make a withdrawal at an ATM. They left the Cadillac in the parking lot of the casino.
The women later went on a shopping spree in Orlando, made a stop at a Walgreens and ended up at Wendy’s, where a credit card was declined. Beyah is named in a police report, but has not been charged in the Tampa case.
Similar cases have been reported in Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, and Fort Lauderdale.
