New York Jets running back Mike Goodson was arrested Friday morning and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a hand gun and possession of a hollow-point bullet.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. Friday morning, a tow truck came upon an intoxicated Goodson,who was in the passenger seat of a GMC Yukon stopped on Interstate 80 West outside of Denville, New Jersey. According to the New Jersey State Police, the driver of the tow truck called 911. When police arrived on the scene a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun was found inside of the the vehicle.
The driver, Garant Evans, was given the same charges as well as a DWI charge, possession of a weapon with a prior felony conviction and multiple traffic summonses.
