Matthew Knowles, the former Destiny’s Child manager has to pay over $485,000 from 2010 and over $728,000 from 2011.

Knowles, 62, faces a lien claiming he owes the government thousands from the past few years. Beyonce fired her father from his position as her manager in 2011.

Knowles, a music mogul, managed Beyoncé’s career up until 2011, when she decided to sever ties from her father shortly after his affair with “Scrubs” actress Alexsandra Wright.

Though Beyoncé has said she is not estranged from her dad, the affair ended Knowles’s 31-year marriage to Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles.
