The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as 40-year-old Tonya L. Daniels.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives are conducting a death investigation at 1407 East 127th Avenue.
According to the report, on Friday at 4 a. m., a man called 9-1-1 to report he had just gotten home from work and found his fiancée dead in the living room of her apartment. Deputies responded, and confirmed that a Black female had been found inside the apartment with upper body trauma.
Deputies said foul play is suspected, but the official cause of death has not been determined.
