Waka Flocka To Pay For NC Shooting

Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka has been ordered to pay $501,000 for a North Carolina shooting that happened last year.

In the incident, Flocka and his tour bus pulled up to a car stereo installation shop in Charlotte, North Carolina as he prepared to upgrade the bus’ sound system. Flocka was wearing $100,000 worth of jewelry at the time and saw two “suspicious vehicles” enter the store’s parking lot.

Flocka’s security began to fire shots at three men exiting the vehicles, claiming the men made threats against the rapper.

Police initially believed the shooting was the result of a shootout between Flocka’s security and the victim, Antonio Stukes. Stukes also was initially charged with attempted robbery, amongst other charges.

The charges have since been dropped due to insufficient evidence.

Stukes’ lawyer says that his client was only trying to give Flocka his demo CD and was shot for no reason. The court decided Stukes should be compensated for the gunshot wound to his shoulder and ordered Flocka and his management company Miznay Entertainment to pay up.
