The 2012 East Tampa Community welcomed new teachers, principals and support staff during a recent breakfast at Orange Grove Middle Magnet School, Dr. Scott Rudes, principal. Superintendent MaryEllen Elia and Pastor Essie Sims, Jr., Chairman of the East Tampa Community Revitalization Partnership, were among those a part of the program. The Mistress of Ceremony for the program was Carla Jackson, City of Tampa Neighborhood Liaison. Evangeline R. Best is founder of this 9th annual event.
