TAMPA HOUSING AUTHORITY RECOGNIZES HOUSING HEROES

Last Friday, three students were recognized by the Tampa Housing Authority as “Housing Heroes.” Each of the students were presented a scholarships during the luncheon. Mrs. Karen Jackson Sims, Deputy Regional Administrator for Housing and Urban Development, delivered the keynote address. The students recognized as Housing Heroes were Ms. Courtni Jenkins, a graduate of Blake High School; James Eliassaint, and Derrell Thompson, both graduates of Tampa Bay Technical High School.
