Tampa Police detectives are investigating a complaint of sexual battery against a 12-year-old male.

Police said on August 8th between 12 p. m. and 2:30 p. m., a man approached a 12-year-old boy in the 3600 block of East Deleuil Avenue and lured him to a vacant home under the guise of hiring him for an odd job. Once inside the home, police said the suspect raped the victim.

Detectives have been working leads on the case, but need help from the public to locate the suspect.

He is described as a Black male 20 to 30 years old, 5’9” to 5’10” tall, and weighing 170 to 185 pounds.
