Popular Artist Hosts ‘Tampa Got Talent’ Search

Hip Hop artist, Krazy, was on the launch pad, and on his way to the top. He was in hot demand at all of the top clubs, and radio stations were contacting him to play his music over the airwaves.

Three years ago, Krazy was involved in a motorcycle accident that has left him walking with a cane, and changed his career direction. On top of all that, his mother passed away in September 2011.

“I really wasn’t interest in performing anymore, and gave up on music for a while,” said Krazy.

“My friend, Bezel, talked me into doing talent shows, and when Madam Chair Productions found us, and people here showing me so much love, they wanted me to start performing again.”

Krazy said instead of going back on the stage as a performer, he decided to reach out to the young people and do something for them.

“There’s too much violence on the streets, and If I can give the young people something else to do with all that talent and energy, it would work out for everyone.”

Krazy, along with Madam Chair Productions, are presenting “Krazy’s 2012 Tampa’s Got Talent Search.”

The event is being held to attract singers, rappers, dancers, spoken word artists, and anyone else with talent. All who enter the contest could win the Festival Idol Grand Prize. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place winners.

Auditions will be held at Club Patron, 2620 East 7th Avenue beginning Thursday, August 9th from 11 a. m. until 6 p. m.

On Friday, August 10th, auditions will be held at the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, 1002 East Palm Avenue, from 11 a. ml until 4 p. m.

Krazy said he’s trying to do different things, including hosting Grown Folks Night every Wednesday at the Double Decker Lounge with DJ Trey.

“I haven’t performed in, or really been in a club or lounge in a long time.”

“I got tired of seeing our young people involved in so much crime, especially against each other. I want to help them develop their natural gifts into something positive that can help everyone.”

There will be celebrity judges and a contest to see who can cook the best barbecue. There will also be bouncy house for the kids.

Krazy advises everyone to put their curse words in a bag, and leave them home, along with all the knuckleheads who enjoy disrupting events.
