Rapper Boosie is suing Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, two pro-Trump lobbyists whom he believed would help him get a pardon.

The Trump administration has repeatedly been accused of pay-for-play tactics for those seeking a presidential pardon.

Boosie had previously been convicted of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and was sentenced to 10 days in prison and three years of supervised release.

Boosie paid the two $600,000 at the beginning of the year after they told him that President Donald Trump could get him a pardon.

The pardon never happened, and Boosie decided to sue the duo for $300,000, hoping to get some of his money back.

Burkman filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, claiming that “never saw the retainer agreement purportedly signed by Mr. Hatch until after this arbitration was commenced.”
