Gunfight Leaves Two Men Fatally Injured 1col Rigoberto Vences Osvaldo Rodriguez The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate a double murder. It occurred on September 16, 2025 in Wimauma. Detectives have identified the two deceased men as Rigoberto Vences, 28, and Osvaldo Rodriguez, 27. According to detectives, deputies on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 6:16 p.m., HCSO received a 9-1-1 call about a shooting on the 3300 block of Willow Road. Detectives believe that two adult men got into an argument and exchanged gunfire. Both sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital, where they later died. This remains an active investigation.
