The Howard W. Blake Athletic Booster Club honored Mose Powell for the many lives he touched as an auto mechanics instructor at Don Thompson, Blake and Plant High Schools. Several of his former students were there to thank him for touching their lives and providing them with a career path. In addition to being an instructor, Mr. Powell was the bus driver at Blake responsible for getting the athletic teams to their games – in and out of state.
