ROGERS PARK GOLF COURSE RECEIVES HISTORICAL MARKER
On October 4, 2024, the Hillsborough County Historical Advisory Council revealed a historic marker at Rogers Park Golf Course, in honor of the first Black golf course in Tampa. Gathered for the special recognition were Alison Smith, Chair, Hillsborough County Advisory Council, Joseph W. J. Robison, Tampa Sports Authority Board member, Gwen Myers, Hillsborough County Commissioner, James Ransom, grandson of G.D.
