Whitney Houston death is a result of accidental drowning.
Heart disease and cocaine use are listed as factors into her death. The report notes that her death was an accident.
The Los Angeles County coroner‘s office has determined that Whitney Houston’s official cause of death is: “drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.”
Various prescription drugs were found in her room at the time of her death. But the toxicology report states that “Marijuana, Alprazolam (Xanax), Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) were identified, but did not contribute to the death.”
Right now, there is debate over why the Houston’s death was ruled accidental and not a drug overdose.
