Man Killed Pedestrian While Driving Without Valid License

JUNIOR CASTILLO SANCHEZ

TPD says that a woman was killed after a driver without a valid license hit her with his vehicle.

The police say they responded to a reported pedestrian-involved vehicle crash at the intersection of South Carter Street and West Julia Street.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say they later discovered that Junior Castillo Sanchez was driving northbound in the area when he said he didn’t see the woman crossing at the intersection. TPD said that Sanchez has never been issued a valid driver’s license.

Sanchez was arrested and taken to Orient Road Jail. He is charged with one felony count of driving without a valid driver’s license (death or serious bodily injury).
