First Lady Michelle Obama was in Tampa Thursday promoting her ‘Let’s Move’ initiative, which is all about “folks from every sector of our society stepping up and coming together on behalf of our kids,” she said. Her appearance was at National Supermarket where she was joined by Goya Foods President, Bob Unanue. Goya Foods is the largest Hispanic-owned, U. S. food company. The First Lady said, “One of the pillars of ‘Let’s Move!’ is empowering parents with the information they need to make healthy choices.” Goya has committed to promoting the USDA’s MyPlate or MiPlato to remind families about making healthy choices with posters, cookbooks, recipes and pamphlets. She made 2 additional stops in Florida on Thursday. (Photography by BRUNSON)
