BRANDON HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI HONOR ANDRE DARBY, AN ENCOURAGER

         Frances Key coordinated an event to honor Andre Darby, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer. He has been an inspiration to so many others, she said. The event was held at the Valrico Gathering Oaks Ranch.  Darby played football, baseball and wrestling while a student at Brandon High School.  He also set many athletic records as a student. Since then, he has been an inspiration to Brandon students and others, while “encouraging them to go after their dreams, and become a success,” Ms. Key stated. Several Brandon High School alumni, family members and friends joined Darby, seated center, with flowers, and his wife, Linda for the honorary celebration. (Photograph by BRUNSON)
