On Friday, December 9th, the Tampa-Hillsborough County Human Rights Council hosted their 38th Annual Human Rights Awards Breakfast. The event was held at the DoubleTree Hotel on Cypress. The Council paid tribute to several individuals who courageously traveled by bus and train through the southern states to integrate public spaces 50 years ago. The theme for the program this year was “Freedom Riders: Then and Now.” Among those attending the breakfast are from left are: Greg Williams, Sonja Jordan, Tanya J. Williams, Yvette Lewis, Erika L.
