GRAND OPENING HELD FOR DOWNTOWN HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

The grand opening of Metro 510, a new housing development in downtown Tampa at 510 E. Harrison St., was held on Wednesday. Approximately $6.1 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was directed towards this project. The historic St. Paul AME Church was rehabilitated as part of this effort. Among those joining the celebration were, from left: Congresswoman Kathy Castor; St. Paul member Pete Edwards, Karen Jackson-Sims, U. S.
