Recently, the children of Percy and Maria Hodges and some 150 guests celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The event was held at the Cuban Hall Patio, where the guests of honor met some 62 years ago.
Guests enjoyed Cuban cuisine, a musical program, and tributes from family and friends. The highlight of the evening, however, was a letter of congratulations from President Barack Obama as well as a letter from Mayor Bob Buckhorn.
