Haitian police are denying reports that singer Wyclef Jean was shot this weekend and instead claim the former Fugee was cut by glass.

As previously reported, Wyclef issued a statement saying that he was shot in the hand while visiting the country of the eve of Presidential elections.

According to Wyclef, he was exiting a vehicle to make a phone call when an unidentified assailant shot him in the hand around 11 p.m. Saturday.

“The way I can explain it is that the bullet grazed me in my right hand. I heard blow, blow, blow and I just looked at my hand,” he said.

Local police however have dismissed Wyclef’s claims and say he was only cut by glass, not struck by a bullet.

“We met with the doctor who saw him and he confirmed Wyclef was cut by glass,” Vanel Lacroix, police chief in Petionville, told the Daily Mail.

The Fresh Prince of Hollywood hasn’t forgotten where he comes from. West Philly-raised superstar, Will Smith is replacing 30 computers that were stolen from West Philadelphia High School.

Two students have been charged with stealing 60 computers from the school last month.

Even though half of them were recovered, the rest are still missing.

The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation and the Charlie Mack Cares philanthropic organizations are donating 29 Apple laptops and one desktop to the high school in Will’s hometown.

Though Smith won’t actually be there to give the hardware, his longtime assistant, friend and community activist, Charlie Mack will personally deliver the computers Friday.

Rapper Missy Elliot recently took to Twitter to dead the current gossip that she and singer Keri Hilson were previously romantically involved.

Misdemeanor labeled the rumors pure BS tweeting earlier today (March 18), “@MissKeriBaby. Girl It amazes me how we never worked 2gether and barely know each other, but they make up a full out lie! Smh!.”

Hilson also denied the rumor that she and Missy dated years back, tweeting, “Lies!! How do those ppl sleep at night? I love & respect Missy & her work, but we’ve never worked & I’ve prolly seen her 5 times in my life!.”

Rapper Plies is known for enjoying the finer things in life.

The Florida emcee recently debuted his latest piece of jewelery on his Twitter page, an iced out iron.

No word on if he’s picking up the iced out ironing board to go with it.

Plies posted a picture of his new chain Thursday saying,

In addition to his latest neck wear, Plies is known for rocking goon mask chains and fitted hat chains.

His fellow Florida rap brethren T-Pain takes the cake however with his Ciroc, Nuvo, Conjure and Kool-Aid man chains.

Bobbi Kristina’s 18th birthday celebration at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, has been cancelled and her mom is taking back the Lexus she gifted her daughter and is sending her straight to rehab.

Bobbi Kristina attempted to debunk the cocaine photos on Twitter recently, and now she’s back to shoot down rehab rumors by tweeting,

“Excuse me, but I’d like to say that I am NOT going to rehab? I’m perfectly healthy and I am not addicted to anything but life.”

Whitney, credits her own mother Cissy Houston, with saving her from her addiction to crack cocaine.

Houston told Oprah in 2009 that her mother forced her to rehab after getting a court injunction, the same procedure that Whitney is trying for her daughter.

An altercation involving Suge Knight in a Las Vegas hotel lobby apparently started because the man Suge was attempting to pulverize asked the former Death Row CEO if he killed Tupac.

Tobias King of South Central, Los Angeles has come forward as the man who provoked Suge into a fighting rage after asking him the touchy question.

King even apparently wants a rematch with Knight, telling TMZ, “Staples Center, L.A. Live, wherever.”

As previously reported, an onlooker recently filmed Suge throwing hands with a man in the lobby of the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Neither man was charged in the incident.

It’s been almost 8 years since Arthur The Comic has performed on stage. Arthur (real name Arthur Hopson) has been traveling with his daughter’s step team, working with an adult skate team, acted as a Master of Ceremony for an array of events, and has done a little promotional work. He accomplished all of this while maintaining his job with the City of Tampa’s Parks and Recreation Department for the past 12-1/2 years.

“What I want to do now is return to the stage as a comedian. This past weekend, I hosted an event for parks and recreation, and I decided then to return to the stage.

“My plan is to start outside of the immediate area, then work my way back to Tampa for a really big show. I will need the time away to work on my new material.”

Arthur said he’ll always be appreciative of the man who first allowed him to perform before an audience.

“I owe all of my success to Mr. C. C. Miles. He allowed me to perform during some his talent shows in the early 1980s, and that gave me my first break.

“I figure all I need to do now is rebuild, because my name is still well-known in the area. I meet people all the time who ask when I’m returning to the stage.”

Arthur said he has a lot of material he’s been working on, and he feels this summer will be the perfect time to let everyone hear it.

“I haven’t arranged any appearances at area lounges or comedy clubs. At this point, I think it’s more important for me to prepare myself properly for a return as a standup comedian, and get more involved in promoting shows.”

Hip-hop lost another great one, Nate Dogg is dead at the age of 41. The cause of death has yet to be determined, but Nate did suffer a stroke in 2008.

Nathaniel Dwayne Hale crooned his way in our hearts with a distinct sound and gangsta melodies in the early 90’s.

He added the right notes to songs like “Regulate” and “Ain’t No Fun” and provided memorable hooks to many of the Death Row records in that era.

The Long Beach native began in the group 213 with Snoop Dogg and Warren G and throughout his career he lent his vocals to stars including Eminem, 50 Cent, Ludacris, Tupac and Dr. Dre.

He was nominated for four Grammys for collaborations and the most successful of his four solo albums was ‘Music & Me.’

R&B star Usher is the subject of a sex tape being offered for sale in Hollywood. The tape is of Usher and ex-wife Tameka Foster.

In December 2010, the star, real name Usher Raymond IV, reported $1,000,000 in valuables, mostly jewelry and two laptops, stolen from his SUV in Atlanta. Sources close to the star claim that, if the tape is indeed his, it could have been taken during that robbery.

The tape, if it does feature the Raymond and his ex-wife, would probably have to be a number of years old; the singer filed for divorce from Foster in June, 2009. Raising two young children in a dissolved marriage, Naviyd and Usher Raymond V, the star says he is now friends with his ex-wife as they work to make good decisions for their kids.
