Drake made a guest appearance in D.C. Sunday at Lil Wayne’s “I Am Music II” dates where he addressed rumors that he was kicked out of his Young Money family.

As previously reported, a story surfaced on April Fool’s Day that the rapper was asked to leave Wayne’s label imprint after arguing over unpaid royalties.

Drake apparently got wind of the rumor and addressed it Sunday to a packed crowd at D.C.’s Verizon Center.

Before breaking into his hit “Forever” Drake said, “You see today, when I landed in D.C. and I got off the plane, this n*gga looked me in my eyes and he asked me, ‘Did you drop out of Young Money?’ And I looked him right back in his eyes and I said, ‘Boy, are you out your motherf*ckin’ mind?!’ Man, I want this sh*t ‘Forever!”

Lil Wayne is the latest celebrity to hit with a lofty tax bill from the IRS.

According to the Detroit News, the Young Money head was hit with a $5.6 million tax bill March 28.

The millions owed stem from his $12 million Miami mansion that is currently up for sale.

The exact amount owed to the government is $5,610,034.

Lil Wayne’s publicist has yet to comment.

As previously reported, Wayne is also facing a $20 million lawsuit from a producer of his hit “Lollipop.”

Back in 2005, Lionsgate began a deal with Tyler Perry which brought Diary Of A Mad Black Woman to movie theaters everywhere.

For all of you Madea fans, prepare to see more of the producer/actor/director in a wig and a dress as Lionsgate has extended the situation with

Perry to distribute more of his films and home entertainment.

The deal kicks off with Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family on April 22nd.

“Tyler Perry is one of the most powerful and unique entertainment brands in the world today, with a fan base that is virtually unrivalled in its loyalty and passion,” Lionsgate co-chairman and CEO Jon Feltheimer said in a statement.

R. Kelly is set to add author to his laundry list of accomplishments now that he’s set to release a tell-all book.

The singer, who came under scrutiny in 2008 while on trial for child pornography charges, will release his book “Soulacoaster” tentatively this year.

Speaking on the book, The Pied Piper says he wants to share his side of his story after years on constantly being misunderstood.

“I’m writing this book as Robert, not R. Kelly. I’m tired of being misunderstood. I will show you the tears, fears, and sweat. I will open my heart and reveal the good in my life as well as all the drama. I want to tell it like it is.”

Flavor Flav has denied reports that his fried chicken restaurant has given bounce checks to his employees.

As previously reported, two former employees told local TV news outlet WQAD Channel 8 that their pay checks from Flav’s Fried Chicken are bouncing.

The two employees stated that they are owed three weeks of back pay from Flavor Flav and the chicken spot’s co-owner Nick Cimino.

Flavor Flav denied the allegations to WQAD and claimed the information came from disgruntled employees.

“It’s not true information first of all, and second of all maybe these are people that’s just jealous of me being here and probably want to see me out.”

Sara Stokes, who rose to fame as a member of P. Diddy’s experimental group, Da Band, got into a physical dispute with her husband resulting in his arrest, according to TMZ.

According to reports, Stokes was visiting a friend in Georgia when she was confronted by her husband Tony Stokes with allegations that the singer had been unfaithful. The conversation escalated into violence with Tony allegedly, punching and choking Sara.

Tony was arrested and released on $2,000 bond according to TMZ.

The couple has a history of violence. In August 2009, Stokes was arrested for stabbing Tony in the arm with a knife in front of their three children.

Beyonce is officially back and set to release a new album this summer.

The singer, who went on hiatus after the release of her 2008 I Am: Sasha Fierce album, will reportedly return to the music world in June.

The news was revealed by a Sony rep who told the Daily Telegraph that he heard six of the brand new “groundbreaking tracks.”

“It was just amazing. She came in and played us six tracks from the album. She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record… these songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she’s gone to another level.”

Dr. Dre To Begin Working With DJ Whoo Kid On New Mixtape?

While the world patiently awaits Dr. Dre’s Detox LP, DJ Whoo Kid has alluded to the fact that the West Coast music legend may be collaborating with him for a mixtape.

There’s no word on whether it will be after Dre’s official album release or preceding it, but Whoo Kid was excited to finally have a chance to do something that has never been done.

“It would be an honor to finally finish my mixtape career do something with him,” Whoo Kid said in an interview with Hip Hop Chronicle UK.
