However, Ilyasah Shabazz, daughter of Betty Shabazz and Malcolm X, is urging the public not to be fooled by Lifetime’s inaccurate portrayal of her mother.

LOS ANGELES — Chris Brown is set to return to court Wednesday to face a prosecutor who is asking a judge to revoke the singer’s probation because investigators say they could not find credible evidence he completed his community labor sentence for the 2009 beating of Rihanna.
A motion filed Tuesday raises for the first time in Brown’s felony assault case several incidents that prosecutors say demonstrate Brown has continuing anger management issues.
They cited a Jan. 27 fight between Brown and fellow R&B star Frank Ocean, and a 2011 outburst in which Brown threw a chair through a window after he was asked about the Rihanna attack on “Good Morning America.”

Chris Brown just caught another break. Frank Ocean took to his Tumblr to announce that he will not be pressing charges against his fellow R&B crooner.
“As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man,” reads Ocean’s all caps post. “But as a man I am not a killer. “I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace.”
Last weekend, Ocean, Brown and their respective entourages got into an altercation at Westlake Recording Studios in Hollywood. Brown allegedly sucker punched Ocean after being either being laughed at when he offered to shake the Odd Future member’s hand or over a parking spot. Probably both.

NEW YORK — Cissy Houston has a few words, and a few more, for Bobby Brown. In “Remembering Whitney,” the mother of the late Whitney Houston writes that from the start she had doubted whether Brown was right for her daughter. And she thinks that Whitney might not have ended up so “deep” into drugs had they not stayed together.
“Remembering Whitney” came out Tuesday, two weeks short of the first anniversary of Houston’s death. During an interview, Houston said she has no contact with Brown and didn’t see any reason to, not even concerning her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina. Houston said she wanted the book published so the world would not believe the worst about her daughter.
