Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Renew Vows In Disneyland

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon renewed their vows during a fairytale ceremony in Disneyland last Tuesday evening. Carey, decked in a cascading white gown and doused in sparkles, joined husband Cannon in also celebrating their five-year anniversary — and their twins’ second birthday — outside of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

“On our way to renew our vows. I love you @Nick Cannon shut down Disneyland,” the singer tweeted before their arrival. Carey’s Prince Charming was decked in full royal Disney attire. The couple’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, were also dressed to fit the fairytale theme.

Over 150 guests attended the elaborate ceremony and sat below crystal chandeliers. The event ended with fireworks as the couple sealed it all with a kiss. The star duo, who wed in 2008, has renewed their vows every year since and celebrated the ceremony at the Eiffel Tower in Paris last year.

Nick said, “I’m a lucky guy, everybody on Twitter lets me know how lucky I am.”

“I can only hope that in everything that she’s taught me — somehow she’s somewhere watching me — I hope that I’ve made her proud of the man that I’ve turned out to be,” said a tearful Harvey.

Jermaine Jackson Headed To Jail For Child Support

Jermaine Jackson, the third oldest sibling of the famed R&B Jackson dynasty, is reportedly headed back to court on child support neglect charges for being $30,000 in arrears for two of his teenage children with former spouse Alejandra.

The Los Angeles Child Support Services Department (CSSD) has filed court documents petitioning a judge to hold the 58-year-old Jackson in contempt for failing to pay the monthly child support payment of $3,000 for his sons Jermajesty and Jaafar over the course of a year.

Thus far, Jackson has only reportedly contributed a total of $5,621 and still owes another $30,378 in the court-enforced support for his children.

According to CSSD, Jackson is guilty of 12 months of contempt and is scheduled for a child support hearing in August, by which time, the owed monies are required to be paid. If Jackson fails to meet his court-mandated financial obligations, he could be slapped with a 60-day jail term.

'Pain & Gain' Hits No. 1 At Box Office; 'Iron Man 3' Earns $195 Million Overseas

‘Pain & Gain’ Hits No. 1 At Box Office; ‘Iron Man 3’ Earns $195 Million Overseas

In the final weekend before Iron Man 3 kicks off the summer movie season in earnest, Michael Bay’s R-rated action comedy Pain & Gain topped a slow weekend at the box office with $20 million from 3,277 theaters, giving it an average of $6,103 per location. The Paramount film achieved only a fraction of the opening weekend grosses of Bay’s Transformers films, but it only cost a fraction — just $26 million — of those films as well. It’s well on its way to profitability.

Pain & Gain, which stars Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, redeemed both stars following unimpressive box office results for action films earlier this year.

Iron Man 3 sequel debuted this weekend in 42 overseas territories (about 79 percent of the international market), where it earned an incredible $195.3 million — a higher figure than The Avengers‘ $185.1 million start.
