Soulja Boy is facing a $1 million lawsuit over a canceled Harrisburg, PA concert back in 2010.
Joseph Sheldon Brewster filed the lawsuit on behalf of his company TrinCity Entertainment stating that the “Pretty Boy Swag” rapper canceled a show at the last minute and kept their $16,250 deposit.
According to the suit TrinCity booked SB for a December 10, 2010 show paying the rapper a down payment of $16,250 plus paying out an additional $11,500 for bus transportation and advertising cost.
The lawsuit goes on to claim the reps for Soulja Boy’s record label, Interscope reached out to TrinCity and requested to postponed Soulja’s performance so the rapper could catch a show in Hawaii the following week.
TrinCity claims, both Interscope and Myspace agreed to pay $10,000 toward promotion of the rescheduled show, but Myspace never paid their portion and Interscope paid too late for Brewster to promote another show.
TrinCity’s lawsuit also notes that Soulja Boy never refunded their $16,250 deposit.
Soulja Boy, Interscope and Myspace Music are all named in the suit.

PHILADELPHIA — Denzel Washington confessed to a bit of stage fright in his latest role: Commencement speaker at the University of Pennsylvania.
Addressing about 5,000 graduates at the Ivy League school in Philadelphia on Monday, the Oscar- and Tony-winning actor said the academic ceremony was “a little overwhelming and out of my comfort zone.”
And that was his reason for accepting the invitation to speak, he said.
The 56-year-old star of “Malcolm X” and “Philadelphia” delivered a humorous speech with a sobering truth: Failure is inevitable. Yet instead of having something to fall back on, he said, graduates should “fall forward” — learn from their mistakes and keep going.
Thomas Edison had countless failed experiments before succeeding with the light bulb, he said.
“Do you have the guts to fail?” Washington said. “If you don’t fail, you’re not even trying.”

West, who split from former stripper/model Amber Rose last summer after two years together, has been embroiled in a war of words with his ex. Most recently, Rose told King magazine that her new boyfriend, Wiz Khalifa, is an upgrade from West.

Recording engineer Tony Terrebonne has confirmed that producer Polow Da Don owes more than $20,000 in unpaid studio services and attorneys fees.
Terrebonne said $8,000 of that is for his work on the Chris Brown hit “Forever” and he’s owed an additional $480 for Usher’s “Love In The Club.”
According to Terrebone this isn’t his first issue with the Zone 4 head who previously owed him $50,000 causing him to move in with his parents and sell his car to make up for the loss.
He said, in addition to Da Don, Young Jeezy and Producer Jazze Pha are also reportedly guilty of not making payments.
Terrebone, recording engineer and owner of Atlanta’s 11st Street Studio Josh Butler said he was still waiting on $20,000 from Young Jeezy while Zac recording owner Jim Zumpano told CBS that he’s still waiting on payment from Jazze Pha.
