According to rumors, Beyonce and Jay-Z have already spent an incredible $1 million dollars on their unborn baby.

“Beyoncé’s waited a long time to have a baby and she’s determined to take good care of herself. She’s paying a dietician to organize a food plan of natural organic meals for her, she’s having daily massages and she’s spent a fortune on lotions to prevent stretch marks and keep her feeling good.”

The mega superstar couple were documented of making $88 million last year together,  so $1 million doesn’t seem so much when looking at that kind of salary.

Dame Dash can breathe a little easier as his “bootlegging” charges have been put to rest.

A Manhattan judge agreed to settle the restraining order that was placed on 172 Duane Street, the building that housed his DD172  studio/building,  after claims that the property’s owners and Damon Dash  were selling and distributing alcohol without a license.

Judge Cynthia S. Kern signed a stipulation settling the matter as long as 172 Duane Street Realty abides by the liquor laws in the future and agrees to provide security guards when holding events, agrees to warrantless inspections by police, and abide by their certificate of occupancy.

Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder and his associates are catching heat for running an unlicensed club called DD172 in New York City, and have been served with six counts of storing and selling alcohol without a license.

Dash reportedly moved out of the space in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood in June, but were first hit for violating the liquor code this past May and in November 2010.

Dash’s lawyer Joshua Seidman said that the city had never served his client any papers and that “selling liquor was never a part of the business model of that location.” If Dash had still been the tenant at the time the city served the papers, there would have been more of a chance of his having to pay fines.

We can’t think of anyone better to fill the shoes of blues legend Fillmore Slim than rapper — and big pimping extraordinaire — Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Dogg is set to star in the biopic The Legend of Fillmore Slim. It was announced today by Ames Universal and SRI Entertainment.

Fillmore Slim — real name is Clarence Sims — is a blues singer and guitarist. And while you my be wondering why Snoop Dogg, of all people, is perfect for the role, let us tell you that Slim was known for more than just his music. During the 1960s and 70s, he was also a highly renowned pimp in San Francisco, often referred to as “The West Coast Godfather of the Game” and “The Pope of Pimping.”

The film, co-written by newcomer Carole Parker, is set to start production in December, and with Slim, now 77-years-old, currently touring, “The Pope of Pimping” has a few tricks of the trade to teach Snoop.

Since taking over Sony Music’s Epic Records in July, label chairman and X Factor judge, L.A. Reid has been busy erasing the company’s tarnished image and rebuilding its roster, which will soon include Outkast and Ciara.

Reid has a long history with both acts, who were originally signed to his LaFace Records (label home to a young Usher, Pink and TLC).

Ciara came into the LaFace fold in 2004 with her first album, Goodies. It featured the hit song 1, 2 Step and has sold more than 2.5 million copies. Her most recent release, 2010’s Basic Instinct, came out via Jive Records. That label is being phased out due to recent consolidation and reshuffling among Sony’s labels, which also include Columbia and RCA, resulting in dozens of layoffs in recent weeks.

Other Reid-era Epic signings include Atlanta MC Future, whose reported first single Tony Montana features popular rapper Drake, and Karmin, the duo known for its quirky interpretations of popular hip-hop tracks like Chris Brown’s Look At Me Now and Lil Wayne’s 6 Foot 7 Foot.

Reggae sensation, Denroy Morgan was recently pulled over in the Bronx borough of New York City with 25 pounds of marijuana in his trunk!

He drove straight through a stoplight without wearing his seatbelt which is what caused the cops to pull him over. Upon further investigation, the officers decided to search Morgan’s house, where they found 310 more pounds of marijuana, which is street valued between  $140,000 to $350,000.

Morgan emigrated from Jamaica to the U. S. in 1965 to be a music star. He was the first reggae artist signed to RCA in ’84.

Mr. Morgan is currently in police custody.

Morgan is also the father of reggae/soul group Morgan Heritage.

Singer Kelis took to Twitter just minutes ago to air out her thoughts on being called a slave at a UK airport. Kelis was at a UK airport with her son when a  complete stranger called her a ‘slave‘ and ’disgusting Nigerian‘.

Kelis revealed:
Over 50 people said nothing. I mean literally nothing. Didn’t flinch. We all no I’m no saint, so I retaliated. Not the way I wanted to, or how that pig deserved.
But #1 my gorgeous baby boy was literally sitting on my hip and #2 I’m a believer. And we are better. Suposed to be anyway. It made me think. This person was aprox a 50 year old English man.

She went on to explain:
I didn’t say anything at the time of the riots in London for a lot of reasons. But I am in london all the time and today I’m gonna say that the racial issues in the uk are disgusting. Decades behind progression because everything is swept under the rug. People don’t talk about it. People don’t fight about it.

Authorities in suburban Atlanta say rapper Gucci Mane will serve six months in jail after pleading guilty to battery and other charges.

DeKalb County Solicitor-General Sherry Boston said Tuesday that Mane, whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis, pleaded guilty to two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct and one count of disorderly conduct.

A police report said Davis pushed 36-year-old Diana Graham out of his Hummer as it rolled down a suburban Atlanta street on Jan. 28.

State Court Judge Eleanor Ross sentenced the rapper to serve six months in custody followed by several months on probation.

The judge also ordered him to complete 12 weeks of anger management classes; pay $5,091 in restitution to the woman for her medical bills; and pay a $3,000 fine.

Leo O’Brien, who played Richie Greene, the main character “Bruce” Leroy Greene’s younger brother in the movie Last Dragon, was shot three times in Harlem by a friend yesterday in an argument over a chair.

O’Brien is currently an entrepreneur working in Harlem and has served eight years in jail for various offenses. Taimak Guariello who played “Bruce” Leroy Tweeted about the shooting.

The New York Daily News reports:

A police source said the two men were arguing about a chair. Someone else was in the chair and got up, then O’Brien sat down. The accused gunman wanted the chair back, but was already out of patience.

“The second bullet hit me in the stomach,” he said. “I knew then it was a real gun….The third bullet hit me in the arm.

“He didn’t say anything to me. He started crying and ran away. He was my homeboy. Did we have a problem before he shot me? No. I don’t know why he shot me. He was scared. Maybe he thought I would hurt him?”

NEW YORK — Nas is taking his war of words to the printed page.

The rapper, known for his million-selling album Illmatic and his public feuds with Jay-Z and Bill O’Reilly, has a memoir coming out in the fall of 2012.

HarperCollins announced Monday the book will be called It Ain’t Too Hard to Tell, and co-written with Toure.

Nas’ other records include It Was Written and Life is Good.
