According to the Nassau County Clerk’s Office of the New York State Supreme Court, a lawsuit was entered at their office on July 21, 2011 listing Khameka ‘Meeka’ Claxton as the plaintiff and Tami Roman as the defendant.
In the suit, Meeka alleges that by drawing her unwillingly into fisticuffs during the Basketball Wives cast trip to Italy in May, Tami intended on causing her physical, emotional or psychological harm; that Tami had her in fear for her physical well being; and that as a result of Tami’s “conduct,” she was “rendered sick, sore, lame, sustained severe and painful personal injuries, sustained severe nervous shock, mental anguish, severe emotional distress and great physical pain.”
So all in all, Meeka is suing Tami for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and intentional interference with contractual relations – aka stopping her checks from coming in the amount of $12,500.
The Nassau County Clerk’s office was unable to confirm the amount of the lawsuit. However, we do know that it is more than what Meeka could have gotten had she filed her suit in a local or appelate court, hence her going straight to the Supreme Court.

L.A. Reid, new CEO of Epic Records, is getting his label in order, and before he even targets artists, he’s letting his staff know that he wants to keep the environment “sexy.”
So does that mean the statement Reid allegedly told his staff, “I don’t want no ugly people working here; I only want good-looking people” is factual?
Considering this is the same man that dropped Lady Gaga, cited her as unattractive and told her, “I don’t get you, I don’t get your music,” according to a source, it could be true that he only wants beauty around him.
Reid is also a judge on “X-Factor” this season and is said to be more harsh than Simon Cowell. Some Epic records staffers are concerned about the time he will sacrifice at the label to work with the television show.
An “X Factor” rep said, “The excitement certainly continues to grow for ‘X Factor.’ We love L.A., and he’s fantastic on camera.”
A Reid source said that the “ugly people” comment was made up by someone with an agenda, but supposedly L.A. was making a joke.

Chris Brown went on a Twitter rant in response to his neighbor’s complaint that the 22-year-old entertainer is “utterly disrespectful, blasting loud music and partying day and night … even racing dogs down the hallways at all hours.”
Chris Brown hit Twitter with the following response:
So this is cleared up… My neighbor has a problem with me (as do some people)so this whole tmz story is a way to continue…The bs. My neighbor carves my name in our elevator to incriminate me so it looks like I’m a reckless 22 your old.My parking spaces in my building that were assigned to me when I bout this crib are painted over with handicap and no Parking signs
A person should be able to live in his or her own company of their house! I’m barely home so these stories and accusations are so childish!
My neighbor also calls the parking enforcement everyday so I get a 360 dollar ticket for each of my cars. (everyday) But no worries, I’ll be a good little boy! There is always 3 sides to a story, my side, your side, and the truth! I feel I have to explain myself because my brand/life is always being slandered and tampered with! ITS GOTTA STOP! I love all my fans, thx for understanding.
We’re sure this won’t be the last thing we hear about this story, but it appears Chris Brown might actually be the victim in this case.

NEWARK, NJ — Rapper and actor Ja Rule was sentenced Monday to more than two years in federal prison for failing to file income tax returns, and said a combination of youthful inexperience, bad advice and an inability to manage fame and fortune lead to his financial troubles.
The multiplatinum-selling artist, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, admitted in March that he failed to pay taxes on more than $3 million that he earned between 2004 and 2006 while living in Saddle River. Although he pleaded guilty to three counts of unfiled taxes, he admitted he hadn’t filed for five years.
Ja Rule was sentenced in New York City last month to up to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty to attempted criminal weapon possession. The case stemmed from a gun found in his car in 2007.

Foxy Brown recently gave an interview where she revealed how she triumphed over “mooning” charges and mentioned a potential $2 million offer from Playboy.
While she’s received speculation for the Playboy offer, Brown says she’s a changed woman—engaged to be married and a Christian.
“The Foxy character and Inga Marchand are two different people.” “My fiancé calls me Inga. No one around me calls me Foxy. I go to church every Sunday. I go to Bible study every Friday night. I’m saved.”
She adds, “The mooning thing bothered me more than anything else in the past — because I’m a lady. I’m cut from a different cloth,” she says. “I would never moon someone. I was raised in a good family.”
In addition to the interview, Foxy posed for a new photoshoot showing off her trimmed down physique.
