Beyonce Knowles has confirmed that she’s pregnant.

The singer and wife of Jay-Z made the announcement on the red carpet of the 2011 Video Music Awards by showing off her baby bump to photographers.

PHOENIX — The rapper known as DMX has been arrested for speeding in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Carrick Cook told The Associated Press that the 40-year-old rapper was arrested Wednesday night and bonded out of jail Thursday morning. The highway patrol pulled DMX on a highway in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa after he was clocked on radar driving at 102 mph.

DMX was cited for criminal speed, driving on a suspended and revoked license and reckless driving.

He was released from an Arizona state prison last month after his probation was revoked for failing to submit to drug testing and driving on a suspended license.

Rapper Nelly has found a positive way to put his money from becoming a star entertainer to good use, by giving back to the community that launched his career to stardom.

According to reports, Nelly is teaming with Vatterott College to open a new recording school in the rapper’s hometown.

“We’re not just building the most advance recording studio St. Louis has ever seen, but we’re helping students learn recording and production the old fashion way, hands on,” said Nelly in a promotional video.

The school is scheduled to open in October and the program has already been approved by Missouri’s Department of Education.

We’re not quite sure how the melee started, but comedian Katt Williams was involved in a fight with a promoter during a Young Jeezy concert in Arizona last night.

The incident was caught on tape, and although the cameras didn’t catch Williams throwing any punches himself, members of his entourage did bust heads, while Katt Williams jumped around, smack talked, and beat on his chest in the background with his shirt.

Will and Jada Smith have issued a statement confirming they are still together after a report surfaced on Tuesday suggesting their 13-year marriage had come to an end.

“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact,” Will and Jada said in a joint statement.

On Tuesday morning, InTouch Weekly claimed the Hollywood superstar couple has decided to split after 13 years of marriage.

Will, 42, and Jada, 39, tied the knot in 1997. They have two children together – Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10. Will also has a son, Trey, 18, from a previous marriage.
Will and Jada reportedly met when Jada auditioned for a role on Will’s long-running series “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.”

Memphitz Wright, the husband of Toya Carter Wright of BET’s “Toya: A Family Affair“, was taken into custody Monday after Atlanta airport security discovered a handgun in his backpack.

The producer is charged with carrying a weapon in an unauthorized location and is in Georgia’s  Clayton County jail. His bond has not yet been set.

Police said Wright, 34, has a license to carry the gun, but told authorities he had forgotten the weapon was in his bag when it went through the X-ray scanner at a security checkpoint.

TSA officials said offenders could face fines of up to $10,000 for bringing a gun to the airport.

Toya and her beau were recently named the new faces of Ampro Styling Gel.

Tampa native, Khia was arrested on Saturday in Dekalb County, Georgia. The rapper was charged with concealing / endangering property secured interest. She was later released on a $500 bond.

Unfortunately, getting arrested is nothing new for Khia.  Her mugshot collection is extensive, rivaled only by DMX.

In the past, Khia has been arrested under the name Khia Chambers, but this time she used the alias Khia Finch.

After nearly a year behind bars, legendary Houston rapper, Scarface has been released from jail, according to reports.

Face, a founding member of the Southern rap group Geto Boys, has been in jail since last October when he was arrested for failure to pay back child support.

The rapper, born Brad Jordan, was accused by four of his children’s mothers in two states (3 in Texas, 1 in Missouri) of failing to provide financial support for his children.

The rapper reportedly owes over $100,00 in child support.
