The rapper Soulja Boy was recently served with eviction papers for neglecting to pay rent on his Atlanta home.
Earlier this year the “Crank That” rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Way, made headlines when a story leaked that he allegedly bought himself a $55M jet for his birthday. The story turned out to be false.
Souja Boy has not paid his November rent for his Atlanta home. The rapper reportedly owes $4,725, and has been served with eviction papers.
He had until December 5 to pay the money owed, or he might face the risk of getting thrown out.

NBA player Kris Humphries asked a judge Thursday to annul his 10-week, highly publicized marriage to Kim Kardashian on the basis that it was fraudulent.
The filing comes roughly a month after Kardashian filed for divorce and apologized to fans.
Humphries’ petition did not offer any details to support his contention that the marriage was a fraud, which a judge would have to determine is true for the marriage to be completely nullified.
Kardashian’s attorney Laura Wasser declined to comment on Humphries‘ filing.
The couple signed a prenuptial agreement before marrying in a star-studded ceremony Aug. 20 at an exclusive estate in California.
Kim Kardashian and Humphries began dating late last year and announced their engagement in May. He proposed on bended knee with a 20.5-carat ring by spelling out “Will you marry me?” in rose petals.
Kardashian filed for divorce Oct. 31, citing irreconcilable differences.

Since his release from prison in August, rapper T.I. has been busy spending time with his family, released a book and will soon be starring in a VH1 reality show that features his wife, Tiny and their six children.
This week he was featured on the cover of Vibe magazine. In the interview, T.I. may have created a firestorm when he was asked about gay rights.
T.I defends comedian Tracy Morgan’s controversial rant on homosexuality which drew widespread criticism earlier this year.
T.I. went on to clarify his position on homophobia and gay rights:
They’re like, ‘If you have an opinion against us, we’re gonna shut you down.’ … That’s not American. If you’re gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you’re against it you should have the right to be against it in peace.

LOS ANGELES — Prosecutors who depicted Michael Jackson’s doctor as remorseless for the superstar’s death urged a judge Wednesday to sentence him to four years in prison, while a defense lawyer said Dr. Conrad Murray is in a prison of self-punishment and should receive probation.
The opposing sentencing memos were filed in advance of Dr. Conrad Murray’s sentencing hearing Tuesday. He has been in jail since he was convicted Nov. 7 of involuntary manslaughter for Jackson’s fatal overdose of the anesthetic propofol.
Prosecutors David Walgren and Deborah Brazil wrote that Murray has shown no remorse for Jackson’s death and has placed blame on others, including Jackson himself. They cited a series of post-trial media interviews with Murray that they submitted to Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor on a DVD.
In one excerpt, Murray states, “I don’t feel guilty because I did not do anything wrong.”

T-Boz ain’t too proud to beg — just like TLC sang back in the 90s — because she’s filed for bankruptcy.
According to documents filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, T-Boz (real name Tionne Watkins) found herself owing creditors $768,642.99 — mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house.
The documents don’t paint a picture of exorbitant spending — she takes in $11,700/month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821.

Self taught and genre-bending, Jimi Hendrix defined rock & roll. With a legacy that lives on nearly half a century after his death, it comes as no surprise that Rolling Stone has named him the Greatest Guitarist of All Time.
In a new list, Hendrix topped a field of legendary axe-wielders, retaining the title he earned from the magazine in 2003.

As expected, Drake nets the third-largest sales week of 2011 for an album, as “Take Care” debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 631,000 copies in its first week according to Nielsen SoundScan.
While that’s a slightly smaller number than initially expected, it’s nothing to scoff at. Last Friday, industry sources pegged the set’s start around 675,000 to 700,000.
Still, the only two sets to sell more in a week this year were Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” debut (1.1 million) and Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter IV” start (964,000).
