Whitney Houston's Daughter Bobbi Kristina Wearing Mother's Ring

Whitney Houston’s Daughter Bobbi Kristina Wearing Mother’s Ring

NEW YORK  — Bobbi Kristina Brown has been spotted wearing a sparkly bauble on her ring finger, but she’s not planning on getting married anytime soon.

A rep for Brown’s mother, the late Whitney Houston, says the 19-year-old is “simply wearing her mother’s ring” and that she’s not engaged.

Rumors about a possible engagement flew after Brown was spotted snuggling with friend, Nick Gordon while wearing the ring.

Brown has been the subject of intense scrutiny since her superstar mother died last month. Brown’s father is Bobby Brown.

Houston left her entire estate to her daughter, her only child.

According to sources close to Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of pop icon Whitney Houston and self-acclaimed King of R&B Bobby Brown, the 19-year-old wants to change her name to her mother’s surname.

From the time Bobbi Kristina’s parents divorced back in 2007, Bobbi Kristina is said to have always wanted to change her name because of the negative relationship she has with her father.

Mother Whitney, though, always allegedly advised her against it. With her mother’s death, friends close to Bobbi Kristina reportedly say that she has decided to change her name to “Kristina Houston.”

Chad Ochocinco, Evelyn Lozada Get Big Bucks For Reality Show

Chad Ochocinco, Evelyn Lozada Get Big Bucks For Reality Show

The limelight-loving pair will each reportedly receive $300,000 for two months work on the show, which will begin filming over the next few weeks.

When it was time to renew Lozada’s contract on current reality show “Basketball Wives” last year, Lozada was supposedly no longer interested in signing on the dotted line.

Apparently, the feisty Latina was peeved about the fact that VH-1 had posted a blog that insinuated she had cheated on Ochocinco. At the time, Lozada had decided that she was walking out on the reality show franchise for good.

When producers dangled the “we’ll-give-you-and-Ochocinco-your-own-reality-show” carrot, though, the climate changed. Still, Lozada had specific demands that had to be met in order for the deal to be sealed: the show had to be shot around her daughter’s school schedule, her on-camera time had to be cut down, and she couldn’t miss any of Ochocinco’s games.

Lozada called all the shots during the reality show’s negotiations.

Not only were her demands met, but the “Basketball Wives” producers even gave her a hefty raise.

Whitney Houston’s Will Leaves Everything To Bobbi Kristina

ATLANTA — Whitney Houston left everything to her 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

The pop superstar’s will doesn’t mention specific assets, but leaves all of her furnishings, clothing, personal effects, jewelry and cars to her surviving children. Bobbi Kristina was her only child.

Houston’s money will be put in a trust. Her sister-in-law and manager, Patricia Houston, was appointed the administrator of the estate.

Upon turning 21, Bobbi Kristina will receive part of the money, more of it at age 25 and the balance at age 30. Houston’s trustees can give her money from the trust for various purposes, including tuition, to buy a home and to start a business.

The will was signed on Feb. 3, 1993, about a month before Houston gave birth to her daughter. The 48-year-old died Feb. 11 in California.

LONDON — Two men have been charged in Britain with hacking into Sony Music’s computers and stealing music, including Michael Jackson’s entire catalog, the company and British police said Monday.

Sony Music Entertainment spokeswoman Liz Young said the company noticed a breach of its systems in May, “and immediately took steps to secure the site and notify authorities. As a result, the two suspects were arrested.”

The year after the King of Pop’s 2009 death, Sony signed a 7-year deal with his estate, worth up to $250 million, to sell his unreleased recordings.

James Marks, 26, and James McCormick, 25, appeared at Leicester Crown Court in central England on Friday and pleaded not guilty. They were freed on bail and are due to stand trial in January.
