The reigning queen of hip-hop has deactivated her Twitter account, reportedly in response to fan site NickiDaily having uploaded snippets from her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, without her permission.
The Young Money emcee vanished from the Twitter world last night after blocking the site, but not before she tweeted her frustrations to millions of followers.
In a recent interview with DJ Clue, Nicki said she believed Roman Reloaded would sell much more than Pink Friday. Although the album did quite well financially — selling over 250,000 copies its first week — fans and critics agree that the multiple Minaj personalities battling for attention on the album just didn’t live up to its hype.

A New York Supreme Court judge ordered pop icon Prince to pay $3.95 million to a fragrance manufacturer for failing to promote their line of 3121 scents.
The ‘Controversy’ singer was sued by Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics back in 2008 because he did not follow through with a contractual agreement to endorse the company’s product line that had been inspired by his 2006 album 3121.
Court documents state that the beauty manufacturer spent a fortune on the ‘Purple One’s’ promotion and he neglected to meet his end of the deal. Corporate heads accused Prince of not granting media interviews, refusing to attend in-store events and not handing out free fragrance samples at his concerts.

Lionel Richie owes some money to Uncle Sam.
The 62-year-old music legend has a $1.1 million debt to the Feds, according to IRS documents. The hefty sum is leftover from unpaid income taxes in 2010.
In addition, Richie has been slapped with a lien, meaning the federal government has the right to seize his assets if he doesn’t pay up in a timely manner.
Fortunately, with new projects in the works it seems the “All Night Long” crooner should be able to scrounge up the cash to put this financial matter behind him.

Just when we thought things were beginning to look up for Oprah Winfrey, her highly successful magazine takes a fall. According to a new report, O, The Oprah Magazine is down millions of dollars in advertising sales in comparison to last year.
The Association of Magazine Media reports that ad sale revenue for O, The Oprah Magazine was $48.8 million in 2011. However, this year ad sales are at a low of $34.2 million, which translates to a decrease of 24.1 percent. The magazine’s newsstand sales have also been declining as of late.
Just last month, Oprah’s struggling television network, OWN, announced that they were laying off one-fifth of their workers and “restructuring the way they operate.”
Winfrey said the decision was a “tough” one, but the economics of a start-up cable channel didn’t fit with OWN’s cost structure.

WASHINGTON — Actor and comedian Bill Cosby says the debate over the killing of Trayvon Martin by a neighborhood watch volunteer should be focused on guns, not race.
In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” aired Sunday, Cosby said calling George Zimmerman a racist doesn’t solve anything.
Cosby says the bigger question is what Zimmerman was doing with a gun, and who taught him how to behave with it.
Martin, 17, was shot in February. Cosby said during the interview, which was taped Thursday afternoon, that he once owned a gun but no longer does. He says there is a need to get guns off the streets, and that people should be taught to use every possible alternative before shooting someone.

EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. — A New York man has been accused of breaking into Sean “Diddy” Combs’s East Hampton mansion, where he apparently ate food, drank liquor and wore the rap mogul’s clothes.
Quamine Taylor of Queens was arrested at the sprawling home on April 1. He’s being held in the Suffolk County Jail on trespassing and petit larceny charges. The unemployed 30-year-old has not posted $2,000 bail.
“I’ve actually been going to the house from time to time since 2001,” Taylor.
“I stay there a lot, but Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there,” Taylor said.
In his first break-in, Taylor tried to pass himself off as Combs’ cousin when cops found him intoxicated after he took a dip in Combs’ pool.
This time, Taylor spun a story that he was a close personal friend and even convinced a security detail of the lie when he accidentally tripped an alarm in the mansion.
