“The Green Mile” star and Academy Award-nominated Michael Clarke Duncan is in the intensive care unit (ICU), after going in to cardiac arrest Friday morning, and his girlfriend, reality show villainess Omarosa Stallworth, actually saved his life.

Stallworth reportedly discovered that Duncan was unconscious and barely breathing at around 2:00 a.m. Acting quickly, Stallworth reportedly began to perform emergency CPR, which resuscitated him.

The 54-year-old Duncan, who is 6’5 and more than 315 pounds, was transported to the ICU of a nearby hospital, and according to sources, his heart is stable. In addition, Omarosa, his girlfriend of two years, has not left his side throughout the entire episode.

Doctors are now working to find out why Duncan’s heart failed in the first place.

In 2009, Duncan stopped eating meat, became a staunch vegetarian, and began touting the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

DMX was hospitalized with a concussion Saturday after crashing his four-wheeler. The rapper got into the accident outside his house in South Carolina, when he collided with a hill. After flipping over more than once, he landed on his backside.

Despite his injuries, X reported his own story to the website, explaining that he didn’t remember many details from the incident. This latest trip marks the second time he has been hospitalized this year, the first occurring in January, for food poisoning.

After a list of well-documented legal issues, the 41-year-old has managed to stay out of trouble, and is focused on a career resurgence. He released his The Weigh In EP in May. In promotion of the project, X announced a summer tour, and has plans to drop his Undisputed album this fall.

Pop star Beyoncé has made her first appearance in a campaign ad for Pres. Barack Obama. In this video, which is part of series of clips featuring Black stars as part of the African-Americans for Pres. Obama arm of the campaign, Beyoncé sings the praises of the first lady and describes the letter she wrote earlier this year about the ways in which First Lady Michelle Obama serves as an inspiration to women all over the world.

Beyoncé Writes Poem In Support Of Frank Ocean

Beyoncé is showing her support for Frank Ocean after he came out about his sexuality last week.

The “Love on Top” singer recently featured a poem superimposed over Ocean’s face on her personal website. “Be fearless. Be honest. Be generous. Be brave. Be poetic. Be open. Be free. Be yourself. Be in love. Be happy. Be inspiration,” she wrote.

A Florida DJ filed a lawsuit against Usher claiming that he created the original beat for the singer’s “Hey Daddy” single.

Aubrey Davis, also known as DJ Mixx, claims that back in 2008 he made a beat titled “Let’s Go,” and shopped it around for songwriters. Usher was given the track by a mutual contact, and the song allegedly became “Hey Daddy,” the lead single off his Raymond vs. Raymond album. The 33-year-old also copyrighted the record. Now, Davis and his lawyers–Singh, Singh & Trauben– are firing back, seeking an unspecified amount in damages.

Released in December of 2009, the song peaked in the No. 2 spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Charts, giving Usher his third consecutive top five R&B hit.

It must be en vogue to not pay the feds, particularly if you’re a celebrity. Rapper Beanie Sigel apparently joined the elite club of artists who dodge tax bills, but Uncle Sam has now put the cuffs on him.

The Philly rapper was just sentenced to spend two years in prison for stiffing the government out of more than $700,000 in back taxes for the years 1999 to 2005.

Sigel, whose actual name is Dwight Grant, pleaded guilty to tax charges in August of last year. A judge imposed a year of supervised release after the sentence which was supposed to give Sigel enough time to pay his debt to the feds. He failed to do so and told the judge he accepted full responsibility for not satisfying the whopping debt.

He has until September 12 to surrender to the Bureau of Prisons. Sigel reportedly earned more than $3 million between 1999 and 2005, but only paid $10,000 in taxes.

Tameka Raymond is not giving up hope that her son will recover from the horrific accident that left him in critical condition over the weekend. Kyle, Raymond’s son with producer, Ryan Glover was declared brain dead by doctors, and the mother of five is asking for the public’s support.

Raymond spoke to Radar Online regarding her son’s status, simply saying “He’s bad.”

Raymond has been by her son’s side since finding out about the incident. She was out of town at the time, but her ex-husband, Usher, chartered a private plane in order for her to get to the hospital as soon as possible. Although the twosome have been at odds with one another over custody of their two sons, they are united in hoping for the 11-year-old’s recovery.  Usher is also said to also be at the hospital with his ex.

Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange debut quickly topped iTunes charts when it was released earlier in the week, but when the physical album is available one place you won’t find it at is Target. Ocean confirmed via Twitter that the project will not be sold by the retail giant. “Album won’t be available at target,” he wrote Wednesday. “Blame it on a generational gap. best buy on deck though.”

Target explained that their choice not to carry the release was fueled by Ocean’s decision to prematurely drop the digital version. “At Target, we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, so our selection of new releases is dedicated to physical CDs rather than titles that are realized digitally in advance of the street date,” a spokesperson said in a statement.

The 24-year-old’s musical reign is evident, as his album is expected to push between 110,000-125,000 units its first week. Given the fact that the project  had little promotion, and was also streamed on his Tumblr page, the aforementioned numbers are no small feat.

Channel Orange hits stores July 17.

This isn’t the Jay Electronica news that Hip-Hop fans have been waiting for. The New Orleans rapper’s relationship with heiress, Kate Rothschild is being documented and the drama it has caused. As previously reported, Jay Elec was at the center of the divorce of multimillionaire ex-husband, Ben Goldsmith and Rothchild.

The former couple took to Twitter to air their grievances, with Rothschild defending herself.

Hip-Hop conspiracy theorist are eating this up since part of this love triangle involves Electronica sleeping with Rothschild, a ridiculously rich banking family heiress long linked to the Illuminati.

Pop artist Flo Rida was taken aback during a performance at the Bank United Arena after, halfway through, two breast cancer advocates awarded the multi-platinum artist and his manager, Freezy, for their generous contributions to breast cancer research.

Flo Rida has been active in the breast cancer community, performing at multiple events and using his celebrity to help raise awareness in impoverished neighborhoods about why it’s so important for women and men to embrace preventative care for cancer.
