Chris Tucker, O’Shea ‘Ice Cube’ Jackson and fans of the ‘Friday’ films franchise may all have different ideas of the word “confirmed.”
While rumors have been swirling that Tucker would reprise his iconic role as ‘Smokey’ in the movie tentatively titled, ‘Next Friday,’ the born-again Christian comic quickly inserted some doubt into the equation in an interview on the “I don’t know. I talked to Ice Cube, because it’s such a big rumor and people get mad if you say you ain’t doing something so I’m real careful. Me and Cube, we’re talkin’ about it. They’re workin’ on a script,” said Tucker.
“I don’t think it’ll be as special as the first one.”

Former Hot Boys and Cash Money rapper Juvenile was allegedly arrested over the weekend in Miami.
According to a report, Juve’s arrest was the result of a nightclub altercation.
Juvenile — real name Terius Gray — had just reunited with Lil Wayne on stage at LIV nightclub earlier in the evening … when something went wrong.
Juve and Wayne — who were in the Hot Boys together back in the late ’90s – had a long running beef when the group broke up … and it was the first time they had been on stage together since the feud.
But around 7 a.m., cops say Juvenile — who’s listed at 5’11, 150 lbs — was involved in a fight that began inside the nightclub and spilled outside to the front of the hotel.

Chris Brown isn’t paying much attention to the $16 million lawsuit filed against he and Drake stemming from their bottle-throwing nightclub brawl in June.
Brown’s rep said on behalf of the singer’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, saying “It’s a frivolous lawsuit.”
The suit was filed by Entertainment Enterprises, the company that owns a separate club affiliated with WiP Nightclub where the fight went down. They are seeking punitive damages, for “ultra-hazardous activity” and “intentional illegal acts,” as a result of the fight.
The kicker is that neither Drake nor Brown were pointed out as the people who actually launched bottles in each other’s direction, which may bar them from any legal responsibility.

The “Today” show says Al Roker and Matt Lauer have jokingly bantered about throwing someone “under the bus” at least 27 times over the past two years.
Why does that matter? Because the most recent time Roker said it, on Thursday, it was widely interpreted as a dig against his own show for the way it removed co-host Ann Curry less than two months ago.
Lauer was speaking with members of the U.S. women’s rowing team and its tradition of throwing the coxswain in the water after winning a race, and he joked that in New York it would mean a toss into the Hudson River. Roker said it was different than “Today” tradition, “which is to throw one of us under the bus.”

NEW YORK — A company with ties to a New York nightclub is suing Chris Brown and Drake over what it views as their roles in a bottle-throwing brawl involving their entourages.
Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. filed a $16 million claim Wednesday against the rapper and the R&B singer. Their representatives didn’t immediately answer inquiries for comment.
Entertainment Enterprises owns the trademark for Greenhouse, where the June 14 fracas happened. The lawsuit holds the stars responsible for the melee and says a $4 million licensing deal fell through because of it.
No criminal charges have been filed. Police say the melee started after members of Drake’s entourage confronted Brown. Drake’s representatives have said he was on his way out and didn’t injure anyone.
The club’s owners aren’t involved in the lawsuit.
